Free Classes

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV have created a partnership program to help provide legal information to the community. Boyd law students present informational classes about the following topics to help self-represented litigants understand how to present their case and represent themselves in court:

  • Divorce
  • Paternity/Custody
  • Guardianship
  • Immigration
  • Small Claims
  • Bankruptcy
  • Collection Proof Clinic
  • Foreclosure
  • Criminal Record Sealing

At the end of the class, you may receive information on how to apply for a pro bono attorney to represent you in your case.

Some of the classes are taught in Spanish as well as English. For additional information about the free legal information classes and to find a schedule of when the classes are offered, please visit the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada website or the UNLV Boyd School of Law website.
